CEIST is the new trustee body for the voluntary secondary schools of the Daughters of Charity, the Presentation Sisters, the Sisters of the Christian Retreat, the Sisters of Mercy and the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart.

Principals and Deputy Principals Second Conference

The Principals and Deputy Principals Second Conference 2007 is being held in the Clayton Hotel, Ballybrit, Galway on Wednesday 28th November and Thursday 29th of November. The title for the conference is 'New Beginnings' and the agenda for conference is being finalised and will be added to the web shortly.

Ceist Education Office have completed the Ceist Schools Statistical Form and it has been added to the web for downloading.

On Monday 1st October 2007 many Ceist schools participated in a ritual to mark the new era in trusteeship that has just begun. The intention of the ritual was to celebrate and symbolise the handing over of trusteeship to Ceist and the launch of the Ceist charter. The ceist ritual was also added to the web for downloading along with photos from some of the respective schools Ceist rituals, see Ceist News articles below.

Ceist has recently been granted Charitable Status by the Revenue Commmissioners and our registered charity number is CHY17522.

Colaiste an Chroi Naofa Ceist Liturgy

Colaiste an Chroi Naofa, Carraig na bhFear, Cork held their Ceist liturgy on November 9th last. The Vice Provincial of the MSC, FR Joe McGee was present at the liturgy, also in attendance was the CEO of Ceist Mrs Anne Kelleher and Mr Ned Prendergast who is Director of Training and Development (Characteristic Spirit and Leadership) for Ceist.
