CEIST is the new trustee body for the voluntary secondary schools of the Daughters of Charity, the Presentation Sisters, the Sisters of the Christian Retreat, the Sisters of Mercy and the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart.


Our first Lenten CEIST Retreat took place From Sunday March 28th – Tuesday March 30th in the Tearmann Spirituality Centre in Glendalough.

The Retreat was led by Fr. Michael Rodgers assisted by Sr Breda Ahearne C.P. and was a very special introduction to Holy Week for all those who took part.

CEIST Schools Co-Operative Purchasing Program (“CS-COP”) Workshops

The CEIST Schools Co-Operative Purchasing Program (“CS-COP”), which has been setup to take advantage of economies of scale benefits for CEIST schools will commence a roll out of workshops outlining the program from May 6th 2010.

Worshop 1:  Glen Royal Hotel, Maynooth on May 6th. 

Workshop 2: Carlton, Castleroy Park Hotel Limerick on May 11th.

Workshop 3: Clayton Hotel Ballybrit Co Galway on May 12th.

Further workshops will be posted on the CEIST website in due course.

13th May – Public Speaking and Presentation Skills – 1 Day workshop

15th & 16th May – A Down to Earth Introduction to Dreams – 2 Day Residential or Non Residential Workshop

19th May – Stress & Time Management – 1 Day Workshop

22nd May – EARTHS FUTURE – BE THE CHANGE – 1 Day Symposium

23rd to 28th May – A 5 Day Retreat with Bishop Brendan Comiskey

29th & 30th May – An Introduction to the Enneagram – 2 Day Residential or Non Residential Workshop
