CEIST is the new trustee body for the voluntary secondary schools of the Daughters of Charity, the Presentation Sisters, the Sisters of the Christian Retreat, the Sisters of Mercy and the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart.

CEIST have moved to new premises in Kildare Town

CEIST have moved their education office location from Maynooth Business Campus to Kildare Town.

The CEIST team have worked in the Maynooth Business Campus, since the founding of the Trust, in 2007.

The Trust has now moved office to the school formerly used by Presentation Secondary School in Kildare, who have since amalgamated with De La Salle Academy and Kildare VEC to form a new community school catering for all second-level students from Kildare Town.

We will retain our current phone and fax numbers and our new address for correspondence is as follows;

Co. Kildare.

St Joseph's Secondary School Navan Welcome President Higgins to the School

St Joseph's Secondary School, Navan, Co. Meath had the honour of a vist by President Michael D. Higgins recently to the school.

Presentation College, Currylea, Tuam Student Achievements

Congratulations to Aoife Kelleher who is a transition year student in Presentation College, Currylea, Tuam.

Aoife has been chosen as the Tuam Young Person of the Year 2012. Also congratulations to Therese Kearns who won the All Ireland Best Individual Speaker Award at the Women's Graduates' Association's Public Speaking Competition held in University College, Dublin on Saturday 3rd March.

Cnoc Mhuire, Granard, Co. Longford Regain Junior ‘A’ Vocational Football Title

Congratulations to Cnoc Mhuire Junior footballers who created history in Nenagh recently by retaining the All Ireland Junior ‘A’ Vocational Schools Football title against a tough and physical Boherbue Comprehensive School, Cork.

Clash of Two CEIST Schools!

Two CEIST schools recently met in the Connaught Junior Ladies Football Final.

Mercy Secondary School, Tuam, Co. Galway defeated Presentation College, Athenry, Co. Galway in the decider and who have since won the All-Ireland Semi-final and are playing the Final tomorrow in Stillorgan.

We wish them the best of luck in the All-Ireland final.

Network of School Planners, Ireland

The Network of School Planners, Ireland are hosting their National Conference, which will take place in the Killashee House Hotel, Naas, Co. Kildare on Saturday, April 28th.
