Christmas Greetings From CEIST

CEIST Education Office would like to offer thanks and congratulations to the Boards of Management, the Principals and Staffs of all our schools who day by day, create and sustain the environment of love and faith in our schools, which enables young people to flourish, learn and grow.

May you be richly blessed in all you do and may the peace of Christmas be yours.

St. Patrick’s College, Thurles is accepting CAO applications for 2014 entry

The Department of Education and Skills advised St. Patrick’s College, Thurles on December 16th 2013, that it may have an intake of students to its existing teacher education programmes, in September 2014.

Presentation Secondary School Thurles Students Win Trinity Entrance Exhibition Awards

Congratulations to Presentation Secondary School, Thurles past pupils Ailshe Meagher, Caoimhe Norton and Claire Lawless who were recently presented with Trinity Entrance Exhibition Awards.

These awards are presented to students who achieve over 560 points in their leaving certificate exams.

Caoimhe is currently studying Science in Trinity while Claire and Ailshe are currently studying Medicine.

CESI Conference 2014

The annual conference of the Computers in Education Society of Ireland will take place in Galway on February 28th and March 1st, 2014.

The theme for this year's conference is Spark the Imagination.

The CESI conference is a calendar highlight for those who are interested in integrating technology into their teaching and learning and this year promises to uphold the high standard that has been set by previous CESI events.
