Latest News from the Trust

The month of October was a busy one for the Trust with a number of seminars taking place. CEIST arranged in-service days for school caretakers towards the end of the month and we are grateful to the CEIST schools who hosted the seminars.

The Trust also arranged an additional induction day for new Principals and Deputy Principals on Oct 8th, which was kindly hosted by St Mary's Secondary School, Nenagh. A Trustee Support day for Chairpersons of CEIST School Boards of Management was held on Saturday 18th October. More information on these and other events are included within this edition.

Save The Date!

Coláiste Bríde, Clondalkin in association with O2 (part of the Three group) and Microsoft would like to invite you and a colleague to attend a half day event in their school where you will see how schools can enhance education through the use of technology.

The event takes place in Coláiste Bríde from 10.30am sharp until 3pm sharp on Wednesday 12th November 2014 limited numbers available on a first come, first served basis.

CEIST Annual Statistical Returns 2014-15

CEIST statistical returns for 2014-15 can be submitted online via http://forms.ceist.ie or by clicking on the CEIST E-Portal link on the home page of our website.

Thanks to all of our schools who have submitted their statistical data to CEIST. We ask schools who have yet to access the e-portal to please submit at their earliest convenience. The data collected from these statistics are crucial in informing the Education Office of underlying trends and standards adhered to in our schools.
