St Aloysius Cork Students Wonderful Work for SHARE

St. Aloysius Secondary School, Cork students Clíona O' Brien, deputy Head Girl and Aisling O' Sullivan recently visited Arás an Uachtarán.

The students were invited by President Higgins as they are two members of the Cork executive SHARE committee. The girls give their time and expertise freely in support of Cork SHARE.

SHARE is a Cork charity which raises funds on behalf of Cork elderly persons. The funds are used to provide housing for elderly persons in Cork city center, in a community based housing.

The elderly people feel part of a community as valued and respected people.

St Aloysius whole school community are so proud of our students receiving recognition from President Higgins for their part in living out the values of the CEIST Charter in Cork City, by Showing respect for every person and creating community.

Well done students, you are example ambassadors for your school.
