Business Studies Success

Congratulations to our second year business students and their teacher Ms Leahy who were very successful at the Limerick Chamber School Competition on Friday 27th February. The competition was titled 'Limerick Business Thru The Ages'.

Four groups entered from Coláiste Nano Nagle and incredibly we won all places in the Junior Category. Christine Franklin, Caitlin McCarthy, Emma Kelly and Sumeika Khan (pictured below) took the overall prize for the junior category for their project on Mes Fleurs.

The projects on Petmania and JJ Kenneally’s came joint second. A special innovation award went to a fourth team for their project on Limerick Sports School.

We are very proud of the girls and their teacher, they all worked so hard for this competition and it paid off. Well done ladies and Ms Leahy. Thank you to Limerick Chamber and LIT for hosting a great event.

Coláiste Nano Nagle have had an incredilby successful few days. On Sunday the 15th March our students took part in the International Bands Championship. 27 students volunteered to take part in this spectular event and had a very enjoyable day.
On the 17th of March we had a very special role to play in the St. Patrick's Day parade in Limerick, we were the official flag ambassadors for the parade.

30 of our fantastic students volunteered to take part in the parade and carry the largest tricolour flag in Ireland. As usual our students were amazing and did our school proud, we are so lucky to have such a wonder student body.

We had a great day and we were all so proud to represent our school. Thank you to the students who took part in the band chamionship and in the parade. Thank you to Ms Moloney for all the work she did organising the school's participation in both these events.
