CEIST Induction Day for Newly Appointed Principals and Deputy Principals

CEIST recently held Induction Days for our newly appointed Principals and Deputy Principals.

The induction day for newly appointed Principals in CEIST Schools was held on Tuesday 18th August and on Friday 21st August we had an induction day for our Deputy Principals.

The induction days provided a great opportunity for the newly appointed Principals and Deputy Principals to meet staff from the CEIST Education Office and gain a stronger understanding of the Trust and of the services it provides to the schools.

It also afforded the opportunity to create networks with other newly appointed Principals and Deputy Principals within other CEIST schools.

Both induction days were very kindly hosted by Scoil Chríost Ri, Portlaoise and CEIST were very grateful for their exceptionally warm welcome and hospitality provided to all on the day.

Both days began with a Prayer Service. The Chairperson of CEIST, Mr. Bernard Keeley welcomed our guests and gave an overview of CEIST.

Presentations were delivered by CEIST staff who were delighted to have the opportunity to inform the new Principals and Deputy Principals of the workings of each department and the services they each offer to our 110 schools.

A most enjoyable day was had by all who attended and CEIST staff were very grateful that our new Principals and Deputy Principals allocated us some of their valuable time to attend the induction day.
