Scoil Mhuire Strokestown Commence New School Building

Scoil Mhuire Strokestown had their official turning of the sod for the new School Building on Wednesday June 8th, 2010.

The school extension has started and is costing 3.7 million euro.

It is a 21,000 square foot extension with a new woodwork room, new metalwork room, two new science rooms and a seperate PE facility.

Junior Minister Michael Finneran turned the sod on Wednesday June 8th, 2010 and the new building should be completed in twelve months.
