Scoil Mhuire Secondary School Buncrana TY Students Win Business Awards

National Get Up and Go Awards

Transition Year students from Scoil Mhuire Secondary School, Buncrana, Co. Donegal won 3rd prize recently in the National 'Get Up and Go' mini company competiton.

The award ceremony was held in the Ospreys Hotel, Kildare, where 27 other businesses from around the country completed.











Pictured above are Steve Sheridan, Henry Bowles and Robert McGilloway who won 3rd prize for innovation at the ‘National Get Up And Go’ Awards.

The boys also received a special mention from the Minister for Trade at the Competition, stating how impressed he was with their Business!

Scoil Mhuire had another notable achievement with the 2nd year students being winners of the Intermediate section of the County Enterprise Board student business competition and will represent Donegal in the National final in Croke Park on the 14th of May.
