All Island School Choir Competition 2012

The All Island School Choir Competition is organised by Co-operation Ireland and RTÉ.

This is the fourth televised series of the All Island School Choir Competition, which brings young people together throughout the island and encourages the tradition of choral music in second level schools.

Well done to all CEIST Schools who participated and congratulations to the following CEIST Schools who advanced to their regional heat finals.

Cork Heat

Coláiste an Chroí Naofa, Carraig na bhFear, Co. Cork.

St. Mary’s Secondary School, Macroom, Co. Cork.

Castlebar Heat

Sacred Heart Secondary School, Tullamore, Co. Offaly

St. Joseph’s Secondary School, Castlebar, Co. Mayo.

St. Leo’s College, Co. Carlow.

Sacred Heart Secondary School, Tullamore choir will join Loreto College, Fermoy in the All Island final, live on RTÉ One television from the Titanic Centre Belfast on Sunday November 11th.

Two more choirs for the Grand Final event will be selected from Regional Competitions involving Leinster and Northern Ireland schools.
