Seven Entrance Scholarships for St. Joseph’s, Navan Students

Due to their high performance in their Leaving Certificate last June seven of St. Joseph's Secondary School, Navan, students received prestigious entrance scholarships to University this year.

Niamh Hughes, who is currently studying Education in the Froebel College Blackrock, was awarded the scholarship prize from Maynooth University .

Karen Blaney and Danielle Corish who are studying Medicine, and Amy Gillen who is studying Physiotherapy received their awards from UCD.

The three Trinity Scholars were Caroline Maloney studying European Studies, Mollie Duignan studying Management Science and Information Studies and Doireann Nic Mhathuna studying Law and French.

The students received their awards in Trinity College.

The school Principal Mary Mulligan attended the presentations and Mary said that that she was very proud of the girls and was delighted with their achievement.
