St Joseph's College Lucan Student Achievements

St Joseph's College Lucan, Co. Dublin have kindly shared the following news with CEIST.

Some outstanding achievements were obtained from students over the last couple of weeks.

BT Young Scientist Prizes

St Joseph's College, Lucan won 1st prize in the Intermediate Technology category: Sisca Devereux, Caitriona Ryan and Gemma Mortell.

3rd in the Senior Biological/Chemistry section: Aoife Clancy and Gemma Lyons. These students were also placed in the Top 10 Science Gallery.

Also best Display award was obtained by Annabel Nwaokorie, Shannon Brown and Rachel Kenny.

Irish Heart Foundation Competition

Claire Williams and Kifah Nur won 1st place in the Irish Heart Foundation competition. They received iPads and €5,000 for the school science department.

Junior Certificate Award

Eimear Hayes won one of the Best Business Junior Certicate Students in her Junior Certificate from DCU.

Camogie Titles for St Joseph's College Lucan

The Junior and Senior camogie teams both won the Dublin Colleges Camogie "A" championship.

Lyons Club

Congratulations to Lisa Pasynkova who was one of the final six Best Volunteers for the Lyons Club.

As you can see it has been a great couple of weeks for St Joseph's College, Lucan and congratulations to all teachers and students who are working so hard to achieve such success.
