Presentation Secondary School, Waterford - All-Ireland Basketball Champions 2013

Congratulations to the Presentation Secondary School, Waterford U16 ‘B’ Basketball team who were crowned All-Ireland Champions in a thrilling final on Tuesday 19th March in the National basketball Arena, Dublin.

The game against an excellent St Louis, Monaghan was a showcase of basketball at the highest level.

At the final whistle the Presentation girls were crowned All-Ireland Champions by a score of 46:35.

Presentation Point Guard Annie Fanning was also chosen by Basketball Ireland as the games MVP for her outstanding defence throughout the game.

4 out of 4!

A fantastic season for Presentation basketball saw all four Presentation Basketball teams win their respective Southeast Leagues.

The U16 and U19 panels narrowly missed out on qualifying for the All-Ireland Semi-finals recently.

The 1st and 2nd Year panels will represented the Southeast in the All-Ireland Play-Offs which are to hosted by Presentation Waterford at the end of April, unfortunately the teams did not qualify for the semi-finals, but they represented their school extremely well.
