Young Social Innovators 2013 Annual Showcase

This year was another successful year for CEIST schools in the Annual Showcase for the Young Social Innovators.

The overall winners of the award was Eureka Secondary School, Kells, Co. Meath with their project "Bring Organ Donation into Education".

The Young Social Innovators programme is important in terms of educating our young people about social justice and inspiring them to take action to make our world a better place.

A huge amount of work has been invested by teachers and students in CEIST schools the length and breadth of the country into their projects.

Only a small number of schools are lucky enough to attend the showcase, however the effort and energy invested by all participants is acknowledged and appreciated.

The continued success of CEIST schools in the Young Social Innovators competition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of staff and students. Congratulations to all CEIST schools that took part in the competition!
