St. Mary's Secondary School Nenagh Celebrate Opening of New Classrooms

The entire school community came together to celebrate the opening of four new classrooms at St. Mary’s Secondary School, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary, which was followed by a beautiful liturgy in the Church.

St. Mary’s has a rich Faith heritage and is renowned across the region, for its excellence in teaching & learning.

The Mercy sisters have given selflessly to the school since its inception in 1887 and the successive Boards of Management have built on this solid foundation over the years.

The excellent work is continued daily by the Principal, Mr. Michael Dineen, the Deputy Principal, Mr. Luke o’ Connor and all the staff who lead the teaching and learning as well as the spiritual and social growth of the students at St. Mary’s.

Catherine McCormack, CEIST Faith Leadership & Governance co-ordinator officiated at the opening & cut the ribbon on behalf of the Trustees, CEIST.

The welcome for the guests on the day was warm and inviting from the front reception to the very talented students who played and sang at the opening ceremony, which was a very beautiful and carefully planned liturgy.
