Euroscola Ambassador Schools Competition Prize

Congratulations to Mercy College Sligo Transition Year students Hannah Scanlon and Mackenzie Ellwood on winning the Ambassador Schools Special Euroscola competition. Their winning Tweet was:

"The EU is like a car engine; it works well without us knowing how. The Programme raises us to be future mechanics of our European engine."

The prize is a subsidised trip to Strasbourg to represent Ireland at Euroscola on Thursday, 26th May 2016, where young people become an MEP for a day.

Mercy College Sligo as a result of Hannah and Mackenzie winning the competition are allowed bring 22 of their classmates to the Euroscola and two teachers with a group of 24 in total travelling to the event.
