A Clean Sweep of Connacht GAA Titles for Presentation Currylea

Well done to Presentation Secondary School, Currylea on winning three Connacht 'A' Gaelic Football titles this year.

Presentation Secondary School, Currylea, Tuam, Co. Galway has created history by winning the Lidl Ladies Post Primary Senior 'A', Junior 'A' and U14 'A' Connacht Gaelic Football Titles this year, which is a quite remarkable feat and great credit must go to all involved in the school. 

The newly crowned U14 champions (pictured above) won with a score of 4-13 to 1-7 over another CEIST school, Sacred Heart Secondary School, Westport who did great to reach the final. 

The team captain was Aoife O’Rourke and player of the match was Emily O’Connor, well done to all the players.

And a special mention goes to Louise Coen, Aoife O’Rourke U-14 capt, Jennifer Leufer and Shauna O’Shaughnessy (pictured above) who have won three Lidl Connacht Titles this year (Snr, Jnr & U-14 A).

Pictured above are the Senior 'A' Connacht Champions who beat near neighbours and CEIST school, Scoil Bhríde Mercy Secondary School, Tuam in the final on Friday 27th January in Tuam Stadium.
