Holy Rosary College, Mountbellew School Building Project

Construction has begun on a major extension and refurbishment of Holy Rosary College , Mountbellew , Co. Galway.

The € 5 million project includes new General Purpose area , Library , Multimedia Lab , Business / IT room , Demonstration room, Music and Drama rooms, Religion room , Two Lecture rooms, Five general classrooms and a Sports Hall.

The existing school will also be completely refurbished during the 18 month building programme. Holy Rosary College, which currently has over 550 pupils, will celebrate 50 years as a Co-Ed school in 2015 / 2016.

Originally under the trusteeship of the Sisters of Christian Retreat, it joined CEIST in 2007.
