School History

Árd Scoil na nDéise has a short history but very long traditions in the town of Dungarvan, County Waterford, Ireland. Established in 1990, it is an amalgamation of Coláiste Muire, run by the Sisters of Mercy, and St. Joseph’s Secondary School, run by the Presentation Sisters. Árd Scoil is a secondary school and the school aims to provide a Catholic Education which develops all aspects of the individual pupil in a caring environment. We endeavour to educate the whole student, providing mental, physical, aesthetic, social, moral and spiritual challenges in order that each will attain her own potential.
