DESCRIPTION:The 2024/2025 Leadership in a CEIST School (LCS)  programme is a wide-ranging programme that challenges both the leaders of today and the leaders of tomorrow to look at their understanding of leadership in a Catholic school in today’s world. \nLCS  is open to all teachers in CEIST schools who wish to explore what it means to be a leader in our schools.  It will run over three Saturdays in Spring 2025 and attendance is required on all three dates.

DESCRIPTION:An Information Session on the Child Protection Procedures for Primary and Post Primary Schools (Revised 2023) will be held on 6th March 2025 in the Hodson Bay Hotel 9.30 – 2.30pm to include lunch. \nIt is open to all newly appointed Designated Liaison Persons (DPLs) and Deputy Designated Liaison Persons (DDLPs).  DLPs / DDLPs who are not newly appointed but who would like to refresh their understanding of the Procedures are also invited to register. \nThe session will have 2 parts: \nPart 1: \n\nTo promote the awareness and understanding of abuse\nUnderstand the threshold of harm\nProvide information to enable staff to know what to do in situations where there is a concern\, suspicion or allegation of abuse\nUnderstand the difference between mandated V non mandated reports\n\nPart 2: \n\nReporting CP concerns and Role of DLP\nCPOR\nBOM Obligations\nCP Inspections\nRecord Keeping\n\n
