Charter

The CEIST Charter defines the vision, values and framework by which the new Trust, its executives and schools will operate. It sets out the CEIST Vision and Mission statements and indicates how the values of the Charter can be lived out by all involved in CEIST and its school communities. The Charter may be viewed and downloaded below.

The Board of Management of each school has been asked to commit to the Charter. Schools will be asked to review their own Mission Statement in light of the Charter during the first few years of the operation of CEIST.

Consultation with the schools took place between October and December 2005 and the feedback from the process contributed to the development of the Charter. The aim of the consultation process was to capture the richness of the existing ethos, capture Catholic values in education and create an inspiring vision for the schools into the future.
