The CEIST Board of Directors invites applications for the position of CEO.

CEIST is currently seeking an exceptional candidate to undertake the position of CEO.

 THE ROLE:

Reporting to the CEIST Board of Directors, the CEO will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of the organisation, developing and implementing the strategic plan to deliver on the future of CEIST’s strategic objectives and contributing to the development of Catholic education in Ireland.

CEIST is seeking to appoint a leader who:

  • is a person of faith with a commitment to Catholic education in line with the goals of CEIST.
  • has an established track record of delivery at senior leadership level.
  • will be a strong ambassador for the organisation and its values.
  • will be excellent at leading and developing a dedicated, motivated and dynamic staff team.
  • is a strategic thinker who can work collaboratively with our Board and other stakeholders to realise CEIST’s vision.
  • is highly organised and self-motivated.

Interpersonal and strategic development skills are a prerequisite, so that CEIST can play its part in the future direction of Irish Education.

The CEO will be accountable to the Board of Directors in ensuring the exercise of its trustee functions.

This role is ideal for someone who works well in a complex environment and a wide, varied remit. You will have the confidence and enthusiasm to manage a range of different internal and external relationships. An understanding and demonstrated interest in the not-for-profit/educational sector would be a distinct advantage but direct charity sector experience is not essential.

If you’re a positive, strategic, engaging professional with a strong work ethic and the ability to represent at the highest levels with a variety of stakeholders, this could be the role for you!

LOCATION:   Summit House, Embassy Office Park, Kill, Naas Co. Kildare, W91 VK0T with an element of remote working.

SALARY:   In excess of €100k dependent on experience. Full package will be discussed with candidates called for interview. Generous pension scheme in place.
