Mercy Day this year is of particular significance as we begin a year of celebration leading to the 200th anniversary of the founding of the first House of Mercy on Baggot Street, Dublin, in 1827.
It was wonderful to see so many schools at our Information Session to hear from Sr Anne about how you and your students can get involved in the preparations and celebrations. We look forward to hearing about and seeing how you will all respond to the invitation.

This year’s theme, ‘Rooted in Mercy,’ reminds us to give thanks for the Sisters of Mercy and for the compassion, courage and commitment to justice that continues to flourish in our school communities as a living reminder of their legacy.
