Creative Schools

We are very fortunate to be accepted into the Creative Schools programme which is run by the Arts Council.  This will involve a Creative Associate working with our school to help us develop and celebrate the arts and creativity in our school.  With the associate, we will be able to establish collaborative opportunities with our community and strengthen the relationships we have built with the wider cultural and arts infrastructures in the north west. The ultimate aim of the programme is to encourage our students to fully embrace the arts and creativity to ensure a positive experience and strong outcomes for our students.

Architects in Schools

We have been selected by the the Irish Architecture Foundation to participate in the Architects in Schools programme.  This is a programme which will run in Transition Year with an assigned architect.

We have been selected by Worldwise Schools to participate in their Global Citizenship Education initiative.  This initiative will link in with CSPE in Junior Cycle and we look forward to developing it over the course of this academic year.
