Leadership in a Catholic School

The annual CEIST Leadership in a Catholic School Summer course was held this month in the Emmaus Centre, Swords, Co. Dublin. There was great attendance and a very positive feedback from all participants. Presentations were given by CEIST on a number of different leadership topics. Guest speakers were:

• Dr. Martin Fitzgerald, Lecturer in Education and Human Development, Limerick Institute of Technology
• Dr. Gareth Byrne, Director of the Mater Dei Centre for Catholic Education, DCU Institute of Education, DCU St. Patrick’s Campus
• Jane Treanor, Deputy Principal of Our Lady’s Secondary School Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan
• John O’Roarke, Principal of Mercy Secondary School Mounthawk, Tralee, Co. Kerry
