Last week 20 Transition Year girls were introduced to the Girls Squad, an initiative set up by Athletics Ireland designed to inspire and teenage girls to become more active and to promote the growth of athletics in schools, clubs and communities.

Great results for SLOT and Presentation College at the South Leinsters on Tuesday the 6th of May. Jack Mahon won silver in inter boys 300m no photo. Dylan Byrne won gold in senior boys 1500m no photo. Marc Mulhall won double gold in senior boys 100m and 200m. Éanna  Dunican won gold in the inter boys 100m and equalled the championship record of 10.80. Sofia Granjo won silver in the inter girls 300m. Isabelle McCormack silver in the senior girls Javelin. Chloe Ryan won gold in the senior girls Shot Putt.
