Cnoc Mhuire Granard’s Spirit of Mercy Award

Friday 24th March 2017

The Spirit of Mercy Award was introduced in Cnoc Mhuire, Granard, Co. Longford 6 years ago to celebrate the ideals of founding Sister Catherine McAuley.

It rewards students who contribute to the spiritual, emotional and caring aspects of life at home and in school.

It challenges students to develop their own faith, to have a sensitivity to those who have special needs and develop a sense of justice which will identify them as leaders among their peers.

Students are invited to apply to be selected for the award. On receipt of their application, students are invited to an interview and from this interview, a winner is chosen.
