Congratulations to Transition Year student Aoife Murphy who won the Taoiseach #KidsTakeOver competition. She was chosen and was invited to participate in #KidsTakeOver of the Taoiseach’s office on the Monday 19th of November 2018. She was also on RTÉ News and Radio.

SciFest National Finals 2018

Congratulations to Róisín Murtagh who was a Broadcom MASTERS Finalist from DkIT where she won the ISTA Award. Her project was entitled “An Investigation into Sound Pollution in My Environment” in the Physical Sciences category. Teacher: Ms. Byrne.

Well done to Ciara Fullerton, Ciara Slater and Sinead Forde (Nezz Up) and Emma Hetherton, Orla Griffin and Aisling Daly (Calf Catcher) who took part in the Student Enterprise Challenge 2018 as part of Meath Enterprise Week and were placed under the following categories:
Best New Business: 4th place – Nezz Up
Most Innovative Startup: 4th place – The Calf Catcher
The winners were announced at the MEW 2018 Business Conference & Expo on Thursday 15th November in the Knightsbrook Hotel in Trim.
