Mt St Michael Leaving Certificate Results Success

Mount Saint Michael students Emer Perkins and Sean White who achieved maximum results in the Leaving Certificate 2018

Mt St Michael secondary school Rosscarbery had some of the best results in the country.  We had a student who achieved 7 H1 grades and she joins only 45 other students in the whole country who also achieved this top result.  Two of our Leaving Cert students  achieved the maximum 625 points.  We are also delighted that 36% of our students scored over 500 points.

We have students going to study Architecture, Medicine, Mathematical Science, Primary teaching , Engineering, and Law, to name but a few. Part of the great success of this school is the broad range of subjects we offer as a small co-educational school in West Cork catering for the many subject preferences of students and the care and commitment given by the Management and  staff of the school. We would like to pay tribute to the Board of Management, staff, parents and students – whose close co-operation and work ethic is something we are all proud of in Mt St Michael. We wish them every happiness for the future – they will make great ambassadors for our school.
