PCH Passed Pupil Nicole Loughlin competes in the Rose of Tralee

Nicole Loughlin a past pupil of Presentation Headford and also former Hdip Student, competed in the Rose of Tralee. She entered as the Mayo Rose. Nicole is from Shrule on the Mayo/Galway border. She is also the coordinator of the “Lets Make It Happen” campaign. This campaign marks a huge venture which involves uniting school communities, both locally and globally, to fund the building of a primary school in Malawi. We are honoured to have Nicole as a former student and were all routing for her in the Rose of Tralee competition.

 

Aisling McAlpine appointed new Acting Principal

Mrs. Aisling McAlpine has been appointed as our Acting Principal. Aisling was a key player in the recent Nano 300 Bealtaine celebration which saw 300 students from Presentation College Headford, Presentation College  Athenry, Presentation College Currylea and Calasanctius College Oranmore join forces for a joyous celebration marking the tercentenary of Venerable Nano Nagle, foundress of the Presentation Sisters in the wonderful surrounds of Knock Basilica. We wish Aisling the best of luck in her new position.

 

PCH Students star for Galway in Croke Park

Heartiest congratulations to our students Jonathan McGrath, Kyle O’Neill and Reece Burke, members of Galway Minor football squad on their heroic win over Kerry at the weekend!
