Green Flag
On the 3rd May 2018 the school was awarded its fourth green flag. Three TY students were delighted to be presented with the flag during an awards ceremony held in the Radisson Blu Hotel in Cork. The Greens School Committee, with the help of Angela Wall representing An Taisce worked hard for the Travel Flag and are very much looking forward to taking on the Biodiversity Theme in the next academic year. Representatives from the Listowel Tidy Towns visited the school on Friday 4th May and thanked the students for participating in the St Patrick’s Day Parade under their banner. We wish them well as they prepare for a Tidy Towns inspection this summer which will hopefully result in a prestigious prize being awarded to them.
