Saint Francis de Sales said “By turning your eyes on God in meditation, your whole soul will be filled with God”. Here in Sacred Heart, we are very fortunate to have a new prayer and meditation room, called the Gatelodge. Our caretakers and, Art and RE teacher, Ms Patricia Gillivan worked hard over the summer to transform the old Gatelodge into a serene and welcoming sacred space. Fr. Charlie McDonnell blessed it for us at the beginning of the school year and all years have benefited greatly from having scheduled classes in this peaceful room.
