Christmas Activities

Our TYs have also been making and selling beautiful Christmas wreaths to raise money for the local hospice; they have raised over 300 euro so far and are still climbing! The circular shape and the vibrant green colour of the evergreens help represent eternal hope and God’s everlasting love.

TY students Molly Lynch and Eva Staunton took part in a festive reading of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas’ for their local community TV station (LCTV) and the paintings you see were used as their backdrop. We also had reading of Christmas poems and a group of students also recorded and performed a version of ‘Feed the World’ by Band Aid (all socially distant). Our international TY students (from France, Belgium, Germany, and Spain!) recorded videos of Christmas traditions to share with their new community and bring a little festive cheer from their home countries to ours. While our Christmas activities may have had to be adjusted this year, it only made the staff and students rise to the challenges even more. We are very proud of the efforts of all our school community and we wish everybody a Happy and Healthy Christmas celebration. Feliz Navidad!
