?? The Bronntanas Appeal Committee recruit volunteers every year to buy a gift for children in need in Mayo. This year 3rd year 1 collected money, were matched with three children and donated presents to them.

A very successful hot chocolate morning was also hosted by Ms. Keane and €628 was raised for the Claremorris Red Cross. Ms. Keane is also helping with the Claremorris Red Cross Food appeal and students donated lots of food to this worthy cause.

TY Fundraise for Ballyhaunis Direct Provision Centre

“Christmas is most truly Christmas when we celebrate it by giving the light of love to those who need it most.”

TY1, in collaboration with Soroptimist’s International (a global volunteer movement working together to transform the lives of women and girls) and Mayo Rape Crisis Centre, have purchased a selection of much needed toiletries to donate to ladies from The Direct Provision Centre in Ballyhaunis.

Thank you to TY1 for their generosity and for wrapping the presents so beautifully.
